Understanding the phenomena of fatigue…
During times of mouvement (dynamic)
In this case, fatigue is directly linked to a decrease in the body’s energy supply which ensure muscular functioning. This energy consumption leads to the generation of waste that blocks energy-producing and disposal systems, which leads to fatigue.
In stand up position (static)
In this case, the muscles of the legs, hips, back and neck remain contracted for long periods, which slows down blood circulation. The oxygen supply is low and waste accumulates in the muscle. This intensifies the strain on the heart, which is equivalent to sustained physical effort.
According to many ergonomic observations, an increased amount of static working positions results in:
-inflammation of the joints
-the appearance of arthritic symptoms
-a herniated disc
-venous insufficiency
-the appearance of musculoskeletal disorders
Did you know?
The static effort is much more painful than that of dynamic type, because it requires a greater muscular effort on the part of the pharmacist.
